Saffron Nights Reed Diffuser is a perfumer-designed, long-lasting home fragrance created for continuous scent diffusion in spaces that suit something richer and more atmospheric.

The reeds steadily release fragrance into the surrounding air, allowing its deeper notes to build gradually and become part of the room.

With no flame or electricity required, it is an effortless way to maintain a sophisticated fragrance presence in living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms and entertaining areas for approximately 4–5 months with four reeds and weekly rotation.

Orange and grapefruit bring a brief flash of brightness against black pepper before leather, jasmine and honey create a rich, textural heart. Amber, vanilla and incense settle beneath, leaving a warm fragrance trail that feels enveloping, luxurious and quietly smouldering.

*Don't let the long name worry you — Isopropylideneglycerol is a gentle, plant-derived carrier made from vegetable glycerine. It has no scent of its own; its only job is to hold the fragrance and release it slowly and evenly, so your diffuser smells as beautiful in week twelve as it does on day one. It's alcohol-free and isn't classified as flammable, making it a safer choice for the home.

Saffron Nights was inspired by the kind of evening that asks nothing of you.

A cold night outside. A dimly lit room warmed by the glow of a fire. Jazz turning slowly on vinyl, a glass of port, fortified red wine or whiskey poured nearby, and nowhere else you need to be.

The fragrance was built to capture that sense of warmth and stillness. Bright orange and grapefruit cut through the darkness at first, sharpened by black pepper, before leather, jasmine and honey bring richness and intimacy. Amber, vanilla and incense settle underneath, giving the room a smoky, enveloping warmth that feels made for staying in.

Saffron Nights is the scent of an unhurried evening — low light, deep conversation, good music and no plans beyond the room you’re already in.

What makes the Signature Reed Diffusers different?

Each Signature Collection scent is created with the complexity and structure of fine fragrance, then translated into a format designed to diffuse gradually through your home. They are made for people who want their interiors to have a recognisable scent identity rather than simply smell “fresh.”

How long should one bottle last?

A 140ml BB Fragrances Reed Diffuser can provide approximately 4–5 months of fragrance when used with around four reeds and flipped weekly. Environmental conditions and your preferred fragrance intensity will influence how quickly the liquid is used.

Can I make the fragrance stronger or softer?

Yes. Reed quantity is your easiest intensity control. Start with fewer reeds if you prefer a subtle fragrance, and increase them gradually. Turning the reeds gives you an additional fragrance boost whenever the scent begins to feel too quiet.

Are Signature Reed Diffusers hound-friendly?

They are designed as part of our hound-friendly home fragrance philosophy for spaces shared by humans and hounds. Because the diffuser contains concentrated fragrance liquid, it must still be kept completely out of reach and should never be applied directly to your dog.

We also recommend ventilation and paying attention to your individual hound's response to fragranced environments.

Which rooms work best?

Reed Diffusers are particularly good in living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing areas, entrances and other spaces where you want an ongoing fragrance presence without having to actively spray or light anything.

Candle or Reed Diffuser — which has better scent throw?

They create fragrance differently. A candle generally produces a more noticeable scent while actively burning, whereas a Reed Diffuser provides a quieter but continuous fragrance presence. Many customers use both depending on the room and occasion.
