Shipping policy
SHIPPING COSTS
We offer FREE standard domestic shipping on all cart purchases over $120.
We provide both Standard and Express shipping options on all products via Australia Post. Shipping rates displayed at checkout reflect the actual cost charged to us as a business — no markup is applied, and any available shipping discounts are passed directly on to our customers.
We also offer FREE local pickup from:
- Dog SHT (South Melbourne Markets), or
- Oh Happy Day Café (Point Cook, VIC)
ORDER PROCESSING & DELIVERY
Orders are processed and dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Once dispatched, standard shipping typically takes 1–5 business days, depending on your location. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to factors outside our control, including carrier delays, peak periods, or weather events.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive Australia Post tracking details via your nominated email address.
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Bug & Bun is responsible for ensuring your goods are dispatched within a reasonable timeframe. However, once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, delivery timeframes are managed by the carrier and Bug & Bun cannot guarantee delivery dates.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL)
All parcels are shipped with an automatic Authority to Leave (ATL) unless otherwise specified at checkout.
By selecting ATL, you acknowledge that delivery is deemed complete once the parcel is left at the nominated address. Bug & Bun is not liable for loss, theft, or damage that occurs after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
If you require signature-on-delivery or have specific delivery instructions, please contact us prior to placing your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Standard international shipping is currently available to New Zealand, with rates calculated at checkout.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges applied by their local authorities. Bug & Bun has no control over these charges and cannot estimate their cost.

PRE-ORDER ITEMS
Products marked as pre-order are not yet in stock but are available for purchase in advance. When you place a pre-order, we will reserve your item(s) once they have been manufactured and received.
If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, your entire order will be dispatched once all items are available, unless otherwise arranged.
Estimated shipment dates are provided on the product page and are indicative only. While we take all reasonable care to meet these timeframes, delays may occur due to manufacturing or supply-chain factors beyond our control.

YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
