The Fragrance

Saffron Nights opens with a flicker of citrus.

Orange and grapefruit cut briefly through the heat of black pepper before the fragrance begins moving somewhere darker.

Leather provides structure through the heart, softened by jasmine and the rich, golden character of honey.

Then the room begins to warm.

Amber and vanilla become increasingly enveloping as the candle burns, while incense creates a subtle veil of smoke through the composition.

It feels decadent without becoming excessive.

Smoky without becoming austere.

And unmistakably better after dark.

Perfumer’s Notes

Saffron Nights was built around the atmosphere of an indulgent winter evening.

The bright citrus opening was deliberately used as contrast against leather, amber and incense.

Honey rounds the edges of the leather, while jasmine prevents the fragrance from becoming too dark or traditionally masculine.

The candle format gives the deeper notes an especially natural setting.

As the flame burns and the wax warms, amber, vanilla and incense seem almost inseparable from the atmosphere itself.

Our fragrances are developed with the same attention to composition found across the wider BB Fragrances collection, layering fine-fragrance ingredients, essential oils and botanical materials to create scent with dimension rather than a single obvious note.

The First Burn Matters

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface of the candle before extinguishing.

This helps establish an even melt pool and supports a more consistent burn throughout the life of the candle.

Before each subsequent use, trim the wick to remove excess char and maintain a clean, controlled flame.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials, and always follow the safety instructions supplied with your candle.
