Soy Candle — Tranquille

The Aromatherapy Inspired Collection focuses on botanical-style scent profiles built around the character of essential oils and natural aromatic materials. Rather than recreating a traditional perfume, these candles are designed to create a more grounded, atmospheric and naturally aromatic feeling in the home.

They have been created as part of our hound-friendly home fragrance collection, with the reality of shared human-and-hound spaces in mind. We use “hound-friendly” to describe our approach to fragrance and responsible use in shared homes — not as a guarantee that every animal will respond identically to every scent.

When fragrancing a home with a hound, use the candle in a ventilated space, allow your dog the freedom to leave the room and discontinue use if your hound appears uncomfortable around the fragrance.

Not necessarily — but the character can be different. Botanical fragrance profiles can feel more nuanced, airy and atmospheric than heavily sweet or perfume-like candles. The goal is a beautifully scented room rather than fragrance that overwhelms the space.

Soy wax was chosen to complement the kind of slow, considered home-fragrance ritual we wanted for BB Fragrances. Combined with our perfumer-created scents, it creates a candle designed to look, burn and fragrance a room beautifully when cared for correctly.

On the first burn, allow the wax pool to develop evenly across the surface where practical. Keep the wick trimmed between burns and avoid very short repeated burns, which can affect the way the candle melts over time.

A burning candle should always be supervised, regardless of whether pets are present. Keep it well away from tails, paws, bedding and high-traffic areas, maintain airflow and never leave a hound unattended with an open flame.
