The Fragrance

Fleur begins quietly.

Italian bergamot creates a fine veil of citrus brightness before Damask rose gradually becomes the centre of the composition.

But this is not a traditional rose candle.

Vanilla softens the floral character and gives the fragrance warmth, while cedarwood provides a dry natural base beneath it.

As the wax warms, the boundaries between rose, vanilla and wood begin to blur.

The result feels intimate and understated.

Less like a bouquet placed in the room.

More like the fragrance of flowers still lingering there.

Perfumer’s Notes

Fleur was created around softness without excess.

Rose can easily dominate a composition, so the surrounding materials were deliberately restrained.

Bergamot allows light into the opening.

Vanilla creates warmth.

Cedarwood gives the fragrance shape.

In candle form, the simplicity of the composition becomes one of its strengths — allowing the floral notes to gently permeate a space rather than overwhelm it.

Our fragrances are developed with the same attention to composition found across the wider BB Fragrances collection, layering fine-fragrance ingredients, essential oils and botanical materials to create scent with dimension rather than a single obvious note.

The First Burn Matters

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface of the candle before extinguishing.

This helps establish an even melt pool and supports a more consistent burn throughout the life of the candle.

Before each subsequent use, trim the wick to remove excess char and maintain a clean, controlled flame.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials, and always follow the safety instructions supplied with your candle.
