Description

Courageux Hound Fragrance is a perfumer-designed, water-based fragrance for hounds, created to bring the complexity and character of fine fragrance into their everyday grooming ritual.

The alcohol-free formula is designed to be misted lightly over the coat after grooming or whenever a fragrance refresh is wanted. Unlike a simple deodorising spray, Courageux is composed with considered top, heart and base notes, allowing the scent to evolve naturally on the coat and remain noticeable for up to three days.

Its fragrance composition draws on pure essential oils, natural botanicals and aromatic resins. Italian bergamot and sweet orange open with vivid citrus before Bulgarian clary sage and Damask rose move through the heart, settling into Himalayan cedarwood, vanilla and frankincense.

Bright without being sharp and grounded without feeling heavy, Courageux leaves the coat smelling fresh, uplifting and quietly confident.

*A solubiliser made from plant-derived components that keeps your Dog Fragrance mixed and disperses consistently. Without it, the water and oil components would not blend together. It's the same type of emulsifier found in many commercial dog shampoos and conditioners.

They are designed for customers who prefer their hound’s fragrance to feel fresh, considered and naturally aromatic rather than traditionally perfume-like.

Is the fragrance alcohol-free?

Yes. Our Hound Fragrances are made with a water-based, alcohol-free formula specifically developed for use as a dog fragrance. They are also vegan and cruelty-free.

How long does the fragrance last?

Our Hound Fragrances can stay noticeable for up to about three days, and longevity varies by hound depending on coat type, activity, bathing, weather, and how much product you apply. For a softer scent, use just a few sprays; for more presence, refresh the fragrance as needed.

How strong will it smell on my dog?

The Aromatherapy Inspired Collection is designed to sit closer to the coat without overwhelming it. Expect a softer, botanical fragrance that becomes part of your hound’s freshly groomed scent rather than smelling like a heavily applied human perfume.

How do I apply it?

Lightly mist the coat from a comfortable distance, avoiding the face, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and any irritated or broken skin. You can also mist onto a grooming brush before brushing through the coat for more controlled application.

Can I use it after bathing?

Absolutely. Our Dog Fragrances are ideal as the finishing step after washing and drying your hound. For the most cohesive scent experience, pair it with the matching 2-in-1 Hound Shampoo. For maximum scent throw, spray on dry fur.

My dog is sensitive to fragrance. Should I still use it?

Every hound is different. If your dog is particularly sensitive to fragrance or has a history of skin sensitivities, speak with your veterinarian before introducing any new grooming product.
