Choose the Time: Select a quiet time when your dog is relaxed. Avoid brushing right after vigorous play.
Familiarise Your Dog: Let your dog sniff the slicker brush before using it. Use calm, reassuring tones to help them feel
comfortable.
Start Slowly: Begin by brushing a small area, such as the back or side. Use gentle strokes and avoid applying too much pressure.
Brush with the Grain: Brush in the direction of hair growth, using long, smooth strokes. Be careful around sensitive areas, like the belly, behind the ears, and legs.
Finish off with a few spritz's of your favourite Bug & Bun fragrance.
Note:
Mats and Tangles: If you encounter any mats or tangles, gently work through them with the slicker brush, starting at the ends and gradually moving closer to the skin.
