Our Room + Linen Sprays are developed with hound-sharing homes in mind and form part of our hound-friendly home fragrance collection. They are intended for scenting the environment and compatible fabrics — not for spraying directly onto your hound.

When using around pets, mist into the room away from your hound, avoid food and water bowls, use normal ventilation and allow sprayed surfaces to settle before your dog comes into direct contact with them.

No. Our Room + Linen Sprays are water-based and alcohol-free.

We use water rather than alcohol because of how each one behaves in a room. Alcohol evaporates almost immediately, throwing a sharp burst of scent into the air that fades as quickly as it arrives. Water releases the fragrance more slowly, so the botanical character has room to open and settle the way it was composed rather than flashing off in the first minute.

It also means no alcohol vapour in a space shared with your hound, and a gentler formula on compatible linen and soft furnishings.

It is designed for rooms, linen and compatible soft furnishings. Because fabrics and finishes vary considerably, always test an inconspicuous area first, particularly with delicate, specialty or naturally dyed materials.

Room Sprays are designed to give you immediate fragrance rather than the constant diffusion of a Reed Diffuser. Longevity will vary between rooms and fabrics, with scent generally remaining noticeable longer on compatible textiles than suspended in open air.

Choose Room + Linen Spray if you want instant, controllable fragrance exactly when you want it. Choose a Reed Diffuser if you prefer continuous background scent. Many customers use a diffuser as their everyday fragrance layer and a spray when they want to refresh or intensify the room.

We recommend treating it as a linen fragrance rather than a pet grooming product. If scenting compatible removable bedding, spray lightly away from your hound and allow the fabric to settle and dry before returning it to their space. For fragrance intended specifically for your dog's coat, use our Hound Fragrance instead.
